Is there a warm green paint?
While you might typically consider greens to be cool tones, they actually are very often warm toned. It all depends on their make up! Think of it this way: green is a secondary color made of primary colors blue + yellow. More blue = cool tones, more yellow = warm tones.
What are warm green colors?
Warm toned greens are going to have more of a yellow, gold, or beige feeling to them and less blue!
Common warm green colors include:
- Olive green
- Sage green
- Hunter green

Light warm green paint colors
Behr Laurel Tree
This is a sage green thats just slightly bright, but has gray undertones so it’s not neon at all.

Sherwin Williams Svelte Sage
This paint color has a lot of yellow and brown it it. It almost looks khaki next to all of these other greens! However, put it with neutrals whites and wood tones and it will look more green.
A great option for a more neutral, beige sage!

Behr Bitter Sage
This is another great green. It reads as a lightened up olive green, with warm yellow and tan undertones.
Benjamin Moore Saybrook Sage
This shade of sage green has a lot of yellow to it. That gives it great warm, cozy undertones. I’d only use this one if your flooring or tile also has warm tones to it.

Farrow and Ball Lichen
This is a beautiful, lush green color. It has a bit more color to it compared to some of the more subdued options. It also has a lot of yellow and golden undertones.

Behr North Woods
This is a deep green color with muted undertones, so it doesn’t look too green but almost black on the wall, especially at night.

This beautiful deep green color has a vintage feel and pairs really nicely with metallic tones and light neutrals.
