Want to paint your bedroom green? Here are the best green bedroom paint colors to narrow down your selection!
We recently gave our owner’s suite a makeover and I knew exactly how I wanted the space to feel: cozy, inviting, relaxed, and beautiful.
After debating a whole slew of colors, we settled on a deep shade of green (Behr North Woods).
While a super dark wall won’t work in every room (this is a big room with lots of natural light, so the dark walls make it feel cozier, not claustrophobic) green walls will work in almost any space.
I personally think that green is the greatest way to add color to a space without necessarily feeling bam in your face.
A soft green-gray or sage green can feel just as calm and relaxed as a greige wall – plus, it’s a lot more interesting.
Here are all of my thoughts – and some favorite shades – on green bedroom paint colors!
Is green a good color for a bedroom?
According to color psychology, green is calming. Of course, calming is perfect for a bedroom!
Green is also universally well-liked, and it coordinates with a lot of other colors and materials. It’s an excellent choice!

Behr Bitter Sage
This is another great green. It reads as a lightened up olive green, with warm yellow and tan undertones.
Benjamin Moore Saybrook Sage
This shade of sage green has a lot of yellow to it. That gives it great warm, cozy undertones. I’d only use this one if your flooring or tile also has warm tones to it.
