On the search for a deep green paint color for your home? Sherwin Williams Garden Gate could be the one for you!
A good olive green feels classic but still fresh. It gives you color without feeling loud.
Deep greens are dark enough to act like a neutral but bold enough to make a statement.
Garden Gate is one of these such hues. You can lean into the drama and pair it with other rich shades. Or you can soften it with creamy whites and light woods. There's a lot you can do with a green like this.
So let’s take a closer look at Sherwin Williams Garden Gate and why it might be the perfect green for your space.

Undertones
Garden Gate has warm yellow undertones with a subtle touch of gray.
In a south facing room with strong sunlight, you'll notice more of its warmth. It can look a bit cozier and more golden.
In a north facing or dim space, it will read deeper and slightly moodier. It stays green, though. It doesn't turn black.
As always, I recommend swatching it on your walls and checking it morning and night. Deep colors can surprise you once they're up in a full room.
