Did you know that October Mist was named Benjamin Moore’s 2022 color of the year? And that Evergreen Fog was named as Sherwin Williams 2022 color of the year?
These colors are seriously popular, and for good reason!
What’s Similar About Evergreen Fog and October Mist?
Both Evergreen Fog and October Mist are stunning mid-toned green paint colors. They bring an earthy, warm, and inviting feel to any room.
They also share similar warm tan and beige undertones, which you’ll read more about below.
Both blend beautifully with a variety of decor styles. And for that finishing touch, they both work well with with soft whites for trim.
What’s Different About Evergreen Fog and October Mist?
October Mist is lighter, a bit more muted, and more neutral compared to Evergreen Fog.
Evergreen Fog, on the other hand, is darker, a tad more saturated, and has a stronger green presence.
While both share warm undertones, they show them a bit differently.
Evergreen Fog boasts warm gray and tan undertones with a slight hint of blue. October Mist leans into warm, slightly beige undertones.
