Picking the perfect off-white paint color for your home? Let’s compare BM Swiss Coffee vs SW Greek Villa to see which might be perfect for your home!
When choosing a neutral wall color, off white is a super popular option. Off-whites are a bit softer than a stark pure white, and are generally easier on the eyes.
However, there are a ton of off white paint colors to choose from.
Two of the most popular colors in this category are BM Swiss Coffee and SW Greek Villa.

Let’s compare these 2 super popular off white paint colors!
Swiss Coffee vs Greek Villa
Greek Villa and Swiss Coffee are actually often suggested as cross-brand dupes for each other. But, they are not exactly the same (just really, really close!)
Swiss Coffee is a super popular soft white paint color. It is called “soft” because it reads as slightly warm and will not feel cold or icy in your space.
Greek Villa has yellow and beige undertones. It is very warm toned, which helps to keep it from reading as cold or stark in any way.
It’s very important to swatch colors on your wall to make sure they look good – day and night – in your actual space before committing.

What is similar about Swiss Coffee vs Greek Villa?
Swiss Coffee and Greek Villa look VERY similar to the eye. They are both very light bright off white colors. They each have warm, yellow/beige undertones.
But, there are a few difference between these two colors, other than the brand name.

LRV
LRV measures the color depth, or darkness, of a color. The higher the number, the lighter the color. So, with an LRV of 84, Greek Villa is slightly lighter & brighter compared to Swiss Coffee.
Undertones
Both of these colors have warm undertones. However, Greek Villa is a bit more beige/neutral, while Swiss Coffee has a touch more color to it. It can even read as slightly green, especially in cool toned lighting.
How do I decide between these two colors?
If your space is at all dark or gets north-facing lighting, I suggest sticking away from Swiss Coffee. It could read as slightly green in these circumstances.
Assuming you are looking for something very light, bright, and neutral, Greek Villa is more of all of those things compared to Swiss Coffee!
