These are both neutral toned greige paint colors with blue and green undertones. But, how those undertones play out is a bit different.

Light Reflectance Value
Light Reflective Value is the measurement of how much light a color bounces around. This is on a scale of 0 to 100 with 0 being pure black and 100 being pure white.
These are both mid-toned gray colors, but they are not equal in color depth.
With an LRV of 65, Gray Owl is a good bit lighter and brighter compared to Repose Gray (LRV 58).
Undertones
Both of these grays have blue-green undertones. However, Gray Owl is much greener looking when you put them next to each other. This makes it feel a bit more cool in tone.
How do I decide between these two colors?
If you want a warmer greige color, Repose Gray might be the better choice for you. If you want a greige that feels a bit cooler, consider Gray Owl!
